Sponsoring one of the children in Santisuk’s Education Fund program may not be able to change the world, but hopefully Santisuk’s determination to provide educational opportunity will change a child’s life. Who knows that one life may become a criminal or a homeless person in the future without the foundation’s support.

I’ve been sponsoring Santisuk children for over 10 years. While some children got other scholarship due to outstanding academic records, some quit school because of their social status or family issue.

For those who were lucky to be highly educated, I hope they would use their ability in a good way. But forthose who had to quit school, I hope what they studied from school would be useful more or less. In fact, all the children joining Santisuk’s program don’t have to be children of the year or anything like that. It’s the foundation’s duty to improve their attitude.

Therefore, Santisuk’s new challenge is to focus more on ethical issue, not only financial support.Apart from the school that students study morality, religious beliefs should be considered as a goodmechanic as well. Every religion convinces people to do good things. When Santisuk accepts at risk children in the program, the foundation basically does not know if the children have a good heart or not.I wish Santisuk would also focus on improving ethics, apart from providing scholarship funds so that thechildren will grow up being good citizen in the society.
